Charleston RiverDogs at Greenville Drive

It looked like an All-Star game at Fluor Field at the West End in Greenville Sunday (7/31/2011) as the Drive (Red Sox A affiliate) wore uniforms of mill teams of the 1950s in their game against the Charleston RiverDogs (Rays A affiliate). Article 1 Article 2 Recap

Against the Charleston RiverDogs, the Drive will wear throwback uniforms highlighting many of these textile teams. Each of these jerseys will available for fans to purchase through a silent auction.

Winning bidders will get to go down on the field following the game to get their jersey straight from the Drive players and coaches.

Each jersey will feature a different textile team, with the following being represented: Simpsonville, American Spinning, Dunean, Pacolet, Union Bleachery, Southern Bleachery, Startex, Camperdown, Mills Mill, Monaghan, Brandon, Apalache, Easley, Judson, Ware Shoals, Liberty, Lyman, Inman, Ninety Six, Victor, Pelzer, Woodside, Poinsett, Fork Shoals, Poe Mill, Woodside, Piedmont, Drayton, Slater, and Glenwood.
