Only the Padres wore throwbacks as they wore their 1983 unis and a 'RHW' patch to honor former manager Dick Williams who recently passed away.

Washington Nationals at San Diego Padres

The Nationals and Padres dressed in 1936 uniforms - the Nationals as the Washington Senators and the Padres as the PCL Padres.  Padres announcer Dick Enberg continuously remarked on the throwback uniforms, even saying the Padres looked almost liked the Yankees with the pinstripes, and when #7 Chase Headley was up, Enberg said, it almost "looks like Mickey Mantle is up at bat."  And he later said these old uniforms reminded him of Camile Pascaul, Harmon Killebrew and Wayne Terwillinger.
For their credit, the players appeared to mostly be wearing them well, with stirrups and no pajama pants anywhere in sight.  Robert Marshall would be proud.

Chicago Cubs at San Diego Padres

For the sixth and final time of the 2010 season, the Padres went throwback, wearing their 1984 duds again. Like in the final games of the 1984 NLCS, the Cubs declined to participate.

Pittsburgh Pirates at San Diego Padres

Both teams dressed in 1978 throwbacks, the Padres in the mustard and brown outfit they've worn a few times in 2010, and the Pirates in a nice looking pinstripes jersey over black pants combo with the yellow pill box hat.

Los Angeles Dodgers at San Diego Padres

On their third of six "Throwback Thursdays" of 2010, the Padres, wearing their 1978 Road Uniforms, defeated the non participating Dodgers 3-2 on a bottom of the ninth walk-off pinch-hit single by Oscar Salazar that drove in Jerry Hairston with the winning run.

The Padres had the first of six "Throwback Thursdays" on Jackie Robinson day. Not only did the 1980-83 era Padres face off against the Braves, who were wearing thier light blue 1981-86 Road threads, but everybody was also wearing #42! The Braves won the game 6-2.

San Francisco Giants at San Diego Padres

It was 90s night at the ballpark, and the Padres wore 1998 throwbacks (their last National League Championship) in a game against the Giants, who wore regular road uniforms. Even the announcers got in on the act.
