Atlanta Braves at Houston Astros

For the last three games of Criag Biggio's career, a three-game series against the Atlanta Braves, the Astros wore uniforms representing the three uniform design the team wore during Biggio's career.

On Friday, September 28, they wore the early 1990s uniform that Biggio wore at the beginning of his career.

On Saturday, September 29, they wore the uniform that they used from 1994-1999.

And then on Sunday September 30, his final game, the team wore their current uniforms, and Biggio began the game at catcher, a position he had stopped playing in recent years.

Throughout series Biggio's number was painted on the incline in deep center field.

San Francisco Giants at San Diego Padres

It was 90s night at the ballpark, and the Padres wore 1998 throwbacks (their last National League Championship) in a game against the Giants, who wore regular road uniforms. Even the announcers got in on the act.

St. Louis Cardinals at Milwaukee Brewers

The 25th anniversary of the 1982 World Series between the Brewers and the Cardinals was commemorated with both teams wearing uniforms from those years.

Los Angeles Dodgers at Tampa Bay Devil Rays

The Dodgers dressed as the 1955 Champion Brooklyn Dodgers. According to Bill Henderson, the Dodgers:

"dressed in complete flannel uniforms by Ebbetts Field Flannels, however the last uniform to have the Brooklyn script on the front was in 1945. The team knew, but wanted the jerseys to celebrate Brooklyn anyway"

The Devil Rays dressed as the minor league St. Pete Saints from the same year. Henderson further notes that both teams wore flannel, and that:

"while MLB TBTC games have become popular and even rather common, on-field uniforms made of real flannel have become rather rare, as the teams opt for the old styles sewn in double-knit fabric."

Kansas City Royals at Milwaukee Brewers

The Brewers dressed as the negro league Milwaukee Bears, and the Royals dressed as the Kansas City Monarchs.
